Letter: What will happen to America?

I have been a member of the tea party for several months and have talked to numerous people about the tea party. During these talks, I have found there is a great misconception or lack of knowledge about the tea party.

The tea party is nonprofit and nonpartisan, and is an independent organization trying to guide this great nation, that I love dearly, back on the right track for freedom, justice and liberty for all.

I will quote some of the excerpts that maybe will help those with the lack of knowledge of the tea party to be better informed as to what the party stands for and what it is trying to accomplish.

Priorities: "Limited government and free markets, fiscal responsibility and paying off our debt. Adherence to the Constitution and our founding principles."

Mission: "The impetus for the tea party movement is excessive government spending and taxation. Our mission is to attract, educate, organize and mobilize our fellow citizens to secure public police consistent with our three core values of fiscal responsibility, constitutionally limited government, and free markets."

If you believe what the tea party stands for and the priorities, then maybe you should think about joining the tea party to help put this great nation back on the right path as we used to know it.

If not, what will happen to America? There is no cost to join or belong to the party.
